The Legend of the Gypsie's Curse

One day 8 elemental children went to a gypsies tent during a festival. One by one they asked the gypsy for something. Gypsies in there world are different then ours in the human world they contain powerful magic and are able to do almost anything. The gypsy promised to grant each child one wish, but she warne them about the badness of greed. The children nodded but it was clear that none actually listened. First darkness walked up "I wish that I was more beutiful than a goddess." she said flipping her hair behind her shoulder. The gypsy nodded and garnted the darkness elemental's wish. second was Earth who stepped up bravely"I wish i was the strongest man alive!"The gypsy once more nodded and earth stepped aside. Next Lightning stepped up"i wish that I was the fastest elemental ever!"Once more he was granted his wish, Next came Fire, "I wish...to have a weapon more powerful than any other" the gypsy nodded to her and she moved aside. Up next was water, "I wish I would never grow old!"She smiled as her wish was granted. Light stepped up next"I wish I could control emotions" the gypsy thought this an odd request but nodded. Air flitted up"I wish i could control (secret word is legend) flying animals" Finnaly the love elemental stepped up"I wish I could be tought by the greatest healer!" After every child had gotten there wish the gypsy began to fade away"Beware my children, with greed comes remorse...if ten years time, you will be forced to pit against each other in battle...."The children, being mearly kids soon forgot the gypsies warning and used there wishes happily. Ten years in time the friends began to fight amongst each other. The firends spilt in half. Soon the friends fought real battles with each other, there own elemental companions fought with them. This soon became a great war. The children now adults fought until only fire was left. She stood on the battle ground.sobbing. She had become so greedy it had cost her her friends and family.

The Legend of Jayla the Fairy, and the Kiss of Bestowal

Every thousand years one fairy gets a special powers. thousands of years ago a fairy named Jayla was granted the gifts of ultimate power and bestowal. She could give anything special powers but when she did she had to use her own power and give it up. When a fairy loses it's power it dies.

One day while Jayla toyed with her endless power, she happened upon a small boy who had been beaten and robbed. She felt deep pity for the poor scrap, so she flew up to him and kissed him on the nose and said"I shall surrender my power of sight, so you can see when you will be in danger.As well as my power of becoming a bull so no one will hurt you" Then she found a small girl being chased by a man. The girl tried to climb a tree to escape but kept falling. The fairy felt that this was unjustly wrong, because the girl was young and didn't know any better, without a family, to even defend herself. So again Jayla flew over and once again kissed the girl"I shall relinquish my shape-shifting power so you can escape and my power of tongues so you can understand anyone and anything so you can live anywhere" Then she met a girl who was starving. The fairy once more took pity and kissed the girl"I bestow my earth powers so you can make food and my power of becoming a monkey so you can take the food even when it is high above you" she did this 4 more times each time giving up another two powers.

One day the King fairy found out and scolded Jayla and said"Dear Jayla you have given up your shape-shifting so you can not hide from human eyes, your earth so you can not make shelter, your power to see into the future so you cannot see an enemy approach, and many more. You have also let 7 human children see you. I must punish you if you do this again." Jayla nodded and did her normal work for days and days until she saw an orphan girl freezing in the forest. She tried to avoid the girl, remembering the king's plea. She once more did her work. and once more she saw the girl half dead in the snow. That night she cried because she could not help the girl though she desperately wanted to. She flew to the girl and kissed her and said"I shall give up my fire so you can stay warm and my power of becoming a wolf so you can find a family with the forest creatures and with it my life." The girl stared in wonder, this girl was different and Jayla seemed to have given much more than just her magic up to this young girl. Jayla flew home and wept, because she knew this was probably her last night.

The king immediately found out about the eight child and punished the fairy girl"Every one hundred years you must surrender 16 of your own powers to 8 human children." Jayla nodded and accepted her punishment. And so the fairy Jayla still gives her power up to this day and will untill she dies...

Tyro's Tail-Ember's story (part 1)

This is going to be a series of tales about my elemental characters, Ember-fire, her twin Sparx-lightning, her younger brother, Granite-stone, her little sister, rain-water, and her mother and Father, Rose-earth and Crow-wind. This is all told by a young white Tiger named Tyro, who is also Ember's very close companion.

Ember had a wildness about her. She was part wolf(part human), and had the power of fire. she was kind and determined, one who never ran from a fight, especially when it meant something to her. But she had her own issues. Anger was her mortal enemy, the anger that Ember could not control. When she got this way once a boy had kissed her to calm her spirits, sometimes they through water over her, and sometimes confined her to a closed space. But there were times, when she outgrew her own level of anger and hatred. When all the things that meant life to Ember became dust. In Ember's mind, Tyro could only guess, was a constant battle, a battle for control over her own self. She fought with the fire that surrounded her heart and the fear that she could kill someone she found too dear to live without. Yet, those times came, she would lose all self control and become a new being that did not have anything to do with the teenager who's body it dwelled inside, except wanting to survive and make that teenager hurt so much...
Tyro was sure not even the boy who kissed her could make her change back. Nor could water or closed spaces, because at that time she would no longer be her, who she was or who she wanted to be. She would be the monster that all the little children saw in there sleep, every mother feared while there children ran with a candle, every man saw in the flames while the elders recited their legends. She would be as wild as a mustang, reckless as a barbarian, and as deadly as the grim reaper himself. She would become a demon that everyone despised, and more than that feared with there heart and soul. And all that kept Ember from finding a way to rid herself from it was"she is the only thing that my mother could do to keep me alive...."

Tyro looks away, his eyes glazed with tears, this was true. When Ember was young she almost drowned in the water. When she was recovered, the doctor said that she wouldn't make it, that half of her was already in the spirit world. Ember's mother, Rose, cried for days, and rarely left Ember's side. When Ember's twin,Sparx, came back with her father, Crow They too wept over her, though Ember didn't yet know why. One night a demon came, twas the demon of fire itself, a demon only heard of in legends. The demon named Wildfire. Rose pleaded with the demon, who was inside dying as well, to help her save Ember. The demon to graciously agreed. Ember was alive again, but the demon was brought back as well.

Through the years Ember grew to know that she as different and the villagers soon learned that as well. Ember soon had two knew brother and sister. Rain and Granite. She loved them, but soon after...the worst happened. The villager's learned of Ember's demon side and wanted to destroy her. Rose blocked the way. Ember watched as they brought her mother down and fled. Her father had returned by now and saw his wife laying crumpled in a heap on the ground. He too tried to stop the villagers, but he too was killed. Granite and Rain were children now, the age as Ember when she fell into the water. They were playing in there rooms, Sparx was tending to the horses and Ember didn't know what to do. She was afraid, and angry, and filled with undying hatred....Tyro had been a young cub then, his mother,Serenity, belonged to Rose. She too was destroyed. Tyro had hidden and did not know the rest...that you would have to ask Ember herself.....

Kiera looked at Dakota"really? whats yours?" Dakota stopped"I...I dont exactly know"Kiera looked at him"where to next?"she asked trying to change the subject. Dakota grinned and walked out with Kiera close behind. He led her into another cave"this is the ordinary wolves lair, as I like to call it. He pulled her in quickly"shh. The beta's are coming"he said. One beta was Large and bulky but it was mostly muscle. The other was red with what looked to be a fin on his head."They are Kel, and Toros They arent the nicest wolves around."Dakota whispered.
Dakota was practicly on top of Kiera, she was cold. He shivered. Kiera shifted from underneath him. The beta's left heading into the nursery. "Hey Dakota, it aint mating season just yet"Dakota heard a voice behind him. He lept away. A wolf with Blueish fur and brown legs stood there smiling. "I have to admit she is really pretty lucky you found her first" Dakota heard and akward silence from Kiera. "She aint my mate Kenta!"he growled. Kenta laughed"suuure...angel will HATE this." Once again an akward silence from Kiera. Dakota growled"come on Kiera lets keep lookin' around."
Dakota growled to himself "that Kenta, if there was a prize for most embarasment of your best friend he would win"Dakota whispered to himself. But he had to admit Kenta had a point. Kiera was really pretty, and she would make a fine mate. He could be happy even if she were dead. A voice startled him from his thoughts. "Dakota! I was looking for you" A pretty young she-wolf said running toward him."hey..Angl"Dakota said unsure of what to say. Angel smiled and then she saw Kiera"Who is this?"she said with bitterness. He looked at kiera but she didnt seem to notice."This is Kiera."Dakota said. There was a bark"hey dakota get in here quick!"called kenta. Dakota sighed"be right back"
Angel growled at Kiera when Dakota turned around the corner. "well. So your the new wolfess huh? Well first thing is first. Stay away from Dakota!"she snarled. Kiera looked up with boredom"Why would I want him?" Angel glared"good! I mean..why not! He aint good enough!!? Listen here you Sheika(wolf for B****) get near him and Ill kill you" Keira sighed"I'd like to see you try" ANgel growled"ok then. The battle field is this way...." She snarled running into a large cavern. Wolves stood by the wall ready to watch the fight. Angel smiled"let the battle begin..."

The Dawn of night: part 2

After a day Kiera was allowed to leave the Healers cave. She found out that she was in a mountain. This was Shadow pack territory. Mistytear enjoyed showing her around"Our Alpha Sentor and our alphess Kora qill want to speak to you later"Mistytear said. Kiera nodded. A familiar figure stepped out of one of the caverns. "Hello Dakota"Mistytear called. Dakota turned and walked up to them, his tail wagging slightly. "Hello Mistytear and how...How are you Kiera?" Kiera decided it was okay to speak"I am feeling a lot better and thank you"
Dakota smiled, but just for a second"um, i'll take over Mistytear, Demonpaw got his head stuck between two stalagmites again. Mistytear rolled her eyes"that spaztic pup"she mumbled walking away.
Kiera felt uncomforatable now. She wished Mistytear would come back. Dakota was already down the hallway"are ya comin?"he called back. Kiera turned and followed.
Dakota had an odd pelt. He had grey fur with blue spots on it.A crystal hung around his neck(in the picture) Dakota looked back"so I heard that you know about well...ya know...but Sentor doesnt want this to get out. Only you, me, Mistytear, Kora, and Sentor"he said. Kiera rolled her eyes"wow w thats just about a whole pack right there"she said sarcasticly. Dakota nodded"i guess...have you seen the nursery?"he asked Kiera shook her head.
The nursery was a big cave. About 9 pups ran around playing or sleeping. Dakota let out a small growl and all the pups stopped" okay guys this is Kiera.Key-are-a. "he sounded out. The cubs repeated it. Kiera smiled"hello.."She hadn't even met them yet she loved each and every one of the pups. A small pup with weird eyes walked up. The eyes were blank butdark"your dead..."she said in a small voice. Kiera gasped. How did she know?
Dakota watched nearby. He saw the young pup Nacierta(Nah-see-air-taa) walk up. She was a weird pup almost...scary Her eyes were all black, unlike the other pups which were blue. He heard her speak to Kiera and shivered. The thought always made him shiver. A pup nearby ran past Dakota, he stopped her."Shantii go play with Nacierta"he whispered. The girl looked a little scared"But she is...she is...scary..."Shantii said. dakota knew what she meant.The wolf pup had a weird scary air about her.
Dakota watched as Shantii led Nacierta away from Kiera. Kiera nodded goodbye, which was wweird. He hadn't even seen her shiver. She had a look in her eye as if every pup was her own. He admired this about her, she seemed to love every pup, even Nacierta. He stood beside Kiera. Kiera looked at him and said"how did she know?" Dakota smiled, he had nothing to worry about no one played with Nacierta, she wouldnt tell. "Well...I'm surprised you haven't noticed, but we all have powers.

The Dawn of night

This is the first chapter of my story.

Kiera awoke, where was she? "what? Where did the fox go? I should be dead"she said. Her black fur blew in the nighttime wind. She remembered the last time she was awake. Her mother and father died trying to get her to run away. FOx chased Kiera to the edge of a cliff. She couldnt remember if she had jumped or not. Kiera felt different. She felt cold, but not the normal cold like her soul was cold.
She looked around, she was in the middle of a forest."he..hello?"she called. No one answered. Kiera stood up."You better lay back down"a voice said. A young male wolf stepped out. "you were having spasms while you slept a helaer will be here soon. I would take it easy."Kiera growled."who are you?"she growled. The male laughed,"i'm sorry, my name is Dakota of shadow pack. You are?"Kiera fell to the ground going into another spaz attack.
A few minutes later Kiera awoke. She looked to bein a cave of some sort. A beutiful white wolf looked at her."hello young one, I am glad you have awoken. My name is Mistytear." Kiera shivered feeling the wierd coldness again"ke...keira. My name is Kiera." Mistytear smiled again Her Misty white fur, Kiera noticed, moved like gentle waves in the ocean when she moved around. She saw Dakota walk in. He looked at her but only for a second. "is she alright?"he asked. Mistytear gave her a wierd glance before walking out with Dakota. Keira strained to hear there words. Dakota laughed"well i'm glad. at least she didnt die on us" There was an akward pause."dakota...She was never alive." Kiera gasped, did she hear wight? Of course she was alive, she was here breathing in this room. Then Kiera noticed until she gasped she had not taken a breath once.
Dakota laughed"good one Mistytear, never knew you were one for jokes" He looked at Mistytears face.It was sad and confused"I must admit, I wished it was a joke too but it isnt. The girl is dead, from the coldness of her I suspect she has been dead for at least a night" Dakota couldnt believe his ears"come on, then how is she moving now?" Mistytear shook her head"I have no idea how but she is dead and still moving. Her name she says is Kiera."Dakota thought a moment"Should I tell The alphas?" Mistytear thought a moment."do as you please, she wont be able to leave the mountain for at least a month"said mistytear returning back into the cave.
Kiera stood up"what do you mean I am not alive"she said as soon as mistytear returned. Mistytear was calm"so you overheard?" Kiera nodded. Mistytear took a deep breath"your heartbeat has stopped, your skin and breath is as cold as death itself, and your eyes hold no life in them."Kiera shuddered.Mistytear heard a howl echo through the cavern."My leader needs me, you should rest." Keira watched mistytear leave"I. Am. Dead..."
